Where is Three Index based?
Three Index is a software company founded in 2020 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. We are a team of 50+ IT professionals and work with clients in India and on remote engagements internationally.
What engagement models do you offer?
Fixed-scope projects when outcomes and integrations are clear enough to quote; dedicated teams when priorities shift week to week; and design-then-build when product and interface work should come before engineering. We recommend the shape that matches how you want to buy delivery.
Who owns the code and infrastructure?
You do. Repository, cloud account, domains and credentials stay yours. We work in your accounts wherever possible so you are never locked into our tooling.
How does delivery work day to day?
We write scope before code — what is in, what is out, integrations, dates and cost basis. You meet named engineers and designers. Working software lands on staging every two weeks so progress is something you can click on, not a status report.
Which industries do you build for?
We have repeat delivery across healthcare, real estate, food ordering, POS, financial platforms, CMS, social apps and marketing products — plus the web, mobile, cloud, AI and data capabilities underneath those domains.
Do you work with remote or international clients?
Yes. Clients are in India and on remote engagements internationally. We work in your tools and overlap hours matter more than geography — communication habits and production software you can verify.
What should I prepare before the first conversation?
A short description of the primary user and the job they must complete, systems to connect to, what already exists, the deadline and what is driving it, plus must-ship versus nice-to-have. Constraints like compliance and who will maintain the software help more than a long specification.
Do you sign NDAs before technical discovery?
Yes. An NDA can be signed before technical discovery on request. Project work itself is governed by a written statement of work or master services agreement.
Fixed price or dedicated team — which is right for me?
Fixed price fits when the outcome is clear enough to write down and accept. A dedicated team fits when the roadmap will keep moving. A short fixed-scope discovery or MVP, then a dedicated team, is a common middle path.
How do I start a project with Three Index?
Send a short project description via the contact form or email. A technical person replies with questions that affect scope and cost. If it is a fit, we schedule a call and follow with a written scope and delivery plan — yours either way.
